SEC Proposes Amendments to Remove Credit Ratings as a Condition for Short-form Registration

An update on a proposal by the SEC under the Dodd-Frank Act to replace using credit ratings as a condition for short-form registration and shelf-offering eligibility in favor of a requirement for the company to have issued over $1 billion of non-convertible securities for cash in registered, primary offerings in the previous three years.
